What is Cardio?
The term “cardio” stands for ” cardiovascular “. This term is commonly used for the circulatory system that includes your heart and blood vessels. But people often refer to this exercise as an exercise that strengthens the circulatory network.
These exercises are performed over a long period of time, which will increase the heart rate and pump more blood to the arteries, and ultimately transport nutrients and oxygen to all cells.
Any activity that increases your heart rate by at least 50 to 75% of your heart rate can be considered cardio. To find the maximum, you can almost calculate it by subtracting your age from 220 (for example, if you are 40 years old, it would be 220-40 equal to 180). It’s enough to increase your heart rate in that range. It doesn’t matter if you do it by running or cycling, dancing, tennis, skateboarding or any other activity you prefer.

1. Cardio helps you lose weight
Shaking your body will burn more calories than sitting in front of the TV. The faster you move, the more calories you will burn. Think about it this way: If you decide to lose weight, and you’re currently eating 3,000 calories, you’ll be able to lose weight by eating less or burning more calories.
Interestingly, Cardio burns even more calories than working with weights, which usually include 45 seconds of moving weights and 1 minute of rest.

An average person’s heart rate is about 80 to 90 beats per minute, while a relatively active runner’s heart rate drops to about 60 to 70 beats per minute.
